# Solution overview

This solution is built by deploying the HPE Ezmeral Container Platform on top of HPE Synergy Composable Infrastructure along with HPE Synergy D3940 Storage Modules for HPE Ezmeral Data Fabric and HPE Nimble Storage to provide persistent block storage for this solution.

# Solution design

In this solution, HPE Ezmeral Container Platform Controllers, Gateway load balancers, Kubernetes master nodes and Kubernetes worker nodes are deployed on HPE Synergy 480 Gen10 Compute Modules running Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Figure 2 describes the minimal configuration of HPE Ezmeral Container Platform deployment on HPE Synergy.

# Standards used in this document

This document makes use of the following standard terms:

  1. Installation user or installer -- Individual or individuals responsible for carrying out the installation tasks to produce a functional HPE Container Platform solution on HPE Synergy.

  2. Installer machine or installer VM -- The system that is capable of connecting to various components within the solution and is used to run most of the key commands. In this solution, this machine also serves as the Ansible Engine host. For more information, refer to the section Installer machine in this document.
